ACT One Training  - Talks & Seminars

This talk will primarily focus on the CII Advanced Diploma units (Level 6) & in particular 820 Advanced Claims & 960 Advanced Underwriting.

Brief reference will also be made to Level 7 which relates to 991(London Market specialisation) & 994 (Insurance Market specialisation).

The talk is designed to highlight the techniques required, by those who are undertaking their ACII studies. The aim is to guide, enlighten & to give food for thought.

Seminar objectives:

• To appreciate the technique required to master Advanced Diploma Coursework – 820 & 960;
• To appreciate the importance of the syllabus & learning outcomes;
• To dispel myths surrounding CII coursework;
• To see how to deconstruct an assignment question & maximise marks;
• To avoid the perils of plagiarism.
• To highlight the different approach to 991 & 994.

The talk is for 90 minutes

Ranging from breakfast or lunchtime talks, to half day and full seminars.

• Mixed Assessment Techniques

Seminars to focus on the different techniques required to master Mixed Assessment (General Insurance Diploma units) . the new approach of the CII. Mixed Assessment is a combination of a multiple choice exam and written coursework to be completed within an 18 month timeframe

• Effective Presentation Skills

Presentation Skills training enabling the presenter to deliver clear, memorable presentations with confidence.
